In a powerful display of strength and resilience, Isabella Strahan, the 19-year-old daughter of former NFL star Michael Strahan, marked a significant milestone in her health journey. On Tuesday, Isabella celebrated the completion of her last day of radiation therapy, sharing the emotional moment on her YouTube channel.

In a heartfelt six-minute video, the University of Southern California student expressed her excitement about completing the challenging six weeks of radiation. “I’m very excited to finally be done,” Isabella said, her relief evident in her words. “It’s been a long six weeks, and I’m very happy to finally heal my head after all of this because the side effects and everything get to you.”

Isabella’s courageous journey came to light just a few weeks ago when she revealed to the world that she had been diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a rare form of brain tumor. The diagnosis came in late October, nearly a month after she started experiencing headaches during her freshman year of college. It wasn’t until she began feeling nauseous and struggling to walk straight that she realized something was seriously wrong.

Speaking openly about her health journey on Good Morning America in a sit-down chat with Robin Roberts, Isabella and her father, Michael, shared the details of her diagnosis and treatment. The Strahan family faced the shocking revelation that Isabella had a fast-growing 4-centimeter tumor, larger than a golf ball, located at the back of her brain. The family turned to the medical professionals at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for support and guidance.

The YouTube video captures the raw emotions of Isabella’s journey as she is seen hugging her sister, Sophia, and sharing a tender moment with her father, Michael, who plants a kiss on her cheek. The love and support of her family are evident, providing a heartwarming backdrop to her triumphant moment.

“To be continued,” reads the onscreen text at the end of the video, leaving viewers with a sense of anticipation and hope for Isabella’s continued recovery. The courage Isabella displays in the face of adversity inspires many, reminding us all of the strength within ourselves to overcome life’s challenges.

We join the Strahan family and their supporters in celebrating Isabella’s victory over the first phase of her health battle. We look forward to witnessing the continuation of her journey, filled with hope, healing, and the unwavering support of those who care deeply for her.
