Ma$e is on a roll, and we’re here for it! Cam’ron just dropped the exciting news on Instagram that Ma$e has successfully reclaimed his publishing rights from Diddy.

In an Instagram post from Wednesday, Cam’ron shared the victory, saying, “Just finished the paperwork for that yesterday. Congrats @rsvpmase!”

But that’s not all! Cam’ron also teased his upcoming tape, “The Lost Files Vol. 1,” set to drop on September 8th. He gave us a sneak peek of a fresh track, although he made it clear that this one doesn’t feature Ma$e, with a heartfelt nod to his friend, “My friend Murder (Ma$e) had to sit this one out.”

Ma$e’s journey goes back to his Bad Boy Records days in the late ’90s and early ’00s when he traded his publishing rights for $20,000.

Recently, Ma$e has been openly discussing his ongoing issues with Diddy, especially regarding his publishing rights. He even made headlines in January 2020 when Diddy turned down Ma$e’s $2 million offer to buy back his music catalog.

Ma$e’s stance came after Diddy’s speech at Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy gala, where he called out the Recording Academy for not giving due “respect” to Black hip-hop and R&B artists.

Ma$e also shared that he tried to repurchase his publishing rights but was told he could only do so if he could match an offer from an unnamed European individual.

Stating that in the end, he’d have to wait for the rights to naturally revert to him.

These are exciting times for Ma$e and Cam’ron! #Ma$e #Camron #MusicNews #Victory #NewMusic #TheLostFilesVol1
