Morgan Freeman is currently recovering from a severe infection that disrupted his scheduled travel plans to promote his latest show overseas.

Unfortunately, the 86-year-old actor had to cancel his trip to the UK after experiencing a fever. According to his representative, doctors advised him that he was contagious, making it impossible to proceed with the planned interviews and engagements.

Morgan had a media tour planned to promote the highly anticipated Taylor Sheridan show, “Special Ops: Lioness,” in which he shares the screen with esteemed actors Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman. However, he was noticeably absent from the interviews and Tuesday’s screening, leading to his unexpected absence from the promotional activities.

In addition, Morgan was scheduled to join his fellow cast members on the BBC program, “The One Show.” However, his absence was deeply disappointing to the show’s host, Alex Jones (not to be confused with the other Alex Jones).

Furthermore, it’s important to note that Morgan has been dealing with fibromyalgia since 2008, which he developed following a near-fatal car accident. This ongoing struggle with fibromyalgia has added an extra layer of challenges to his health.

At this year’s Oscars, Morgan Freeman wore a black compression glove on his hand, which has become a regular part of his attire for added comfort. This is due to the permanent nerve damage he sustained from the car accident, which caused long-lasting effects.

Regarding the recent infection, Morgan’s representative has assured us that the actor is now in good health and is no longer contagious.
