When I think about how God is moving in Atlanta, Georgia, one ministry that immediately comes to mind is Church 2819, led by the dynamic and visionary Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell. Watching their journey from the outside has been nothing short of inspiring.
This thriving church has become a beacon of hope, transforming lives and spreading the gospel in ways that have caused an incredible surge in attendance. In fact, they’ve grown so much that they’ve completely outgrown their current location! Yes, you read that right—this flourishing ministry is being pushed out of their space simply because they can no longer contain the growth.
While leaving a familiar space may be challenging, it’s also a powerful testimony to God’s favor and blessings over this church. This moment represents far more than a physical move; it’s a clear sign of God’s hand at work, making room for even greater impact.
For those of us watching from the sidelines, it’s impossible not to be inspired by the faith and dedication of Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell and the entire Church 2819 family. They’re a living example of what happens when faith meets action, and they are a vital part of the incredible Kingdom work happening in the Atlanta area.
As they prepare for this next step in their journey, my prayers are with Church 2819. I believe this is just the beginning of what God has in store for them—and I can’t wait to see how they continue to thrive and impact lives for the Kingdom.
